Plum's range of wooden swing sets are made from round pole timber and are extremely sturdy. The top bar is 100mm in diameter and the legs are 80mm. There are 2 features that make it a lot stronger than many others in the market. The hangers that hold the swings and other accessories are metal straps which completely encircle the pole. Accordingly there is no drilling and any splits only tend to tighten the bracket not loosen it. Also all Plum swing sets have sturdy wooden cross braces which gives strength and enormously aids stability and can prevent inadvertant access into the swing area from the side. Swings have 10mm soft feel polyethylene ropes and heavy duty blow moulded seats.
